The line is a bit high, but Devin Harris remains questionable. He didn't play Saturday in Indy, and the Nets got wiped out. We'll take our chances with that happening again.

The Picksix: Putridity at the forefront in Grizz-Heat match-up
New Jersey over TORONTO (-9.5) -- The Raps shellacked Milwaukee this week. Great. Label us unsold.
Cleveland (-2.5) over CHICAGO -- Loss to Miami, 32-point defeat in Orlando the next night. We'll take a pass on the Bulls, too.
Minnesota over ORLANDO (-12.5) -- A lot of points are involved here for a Magic team without a real reason to care. And they are no longer coming off a loss to the Knicks, which was the case earlier in the week.
Indiana over PHILADELPHIA (-5.5) -- Gotta go with the team still clinging to playoff hope.
BOSTON (-15.5) over Milwaukee -- The Celts tend to get peeved after losses. The Bucks tend to lose by lots of points.
Atlanta (-4.5) over NEW YORK -- Sooner or later, the Hawks need to end the race for eighth in the East. Right? Right?

Washington over DETROIT (-4.5) -- The Pistons' interest in this game remains yet to be determined. The Wiz are playing very solid ball as of late to boot.

DENVER (-8.5) over Dallas -- If the Nugs can't roll it up without Dirk on the floor for Dallas, they're going to be in big trouble down the stretch.

The Picksix: Putridity abounds in South Beach
Atlanta over ORLANDO (-9.5) -- Too many points to give when the game means much more to the underdog, as the Hawks fight to clear some room for themselves in the playoff picture.
Boston (-4.5) over PHILADELPHIA -- The tough part of Philly's March schedule officially starts now.
CLEVELAND (-5.5) over Portland -- It has become clear that the Blazers are good enough to beat bad teams but not ready to hang with the class of either conference. LeBron will take care of business.
MIAMI (-3.5) over LA Clippers -- As bad as the Heat are, if Dwyane Wade still hasn't been shut down for the year (how has this not happened yet?), the Clips are worse.
Denver over SAN ANTONIO (-7.5) -- This line is too high for a San Antonio team has suddenly lost two in a row against two of the league's fastest-paced teams. Traveling home from Phoenix to run into the league's quickest-playing team a day later won't be good for the old bones.

HOUSTON (-15.5) over New Jersey -- The Knicks are really bad, and by the same token, the Rockets are really good. Thus our willingness to give a combined 31 points in these two games.

The Picksix: 'Dogs before the break
Miami over CHICAGO (-6.5) -- Miami should be able to ride the wave of the "high-energy close loss" once more as Shawn Marion continues to revel in his new prominence. What a sad story.
Dallas over PHOENIX (-7.5) -- The Suns remain shorthanded sans Shaquille O'Neal and will be coming off a down-to-the-wire two-point loss in Golden State that was paced at full throttle all night.

The Picksix: The Heat are really bad
Hope it was a happy and healthy holiday for all those who celebrated. Hope everyone who doesn’t celebrate Christmas is happy and happy healthy as well. The Heat are really bad.
PHILADELPHIA (-1.5) over Miami – One more thing about the Heat: They are really bad.
Indiana over ATLANTA (-2.5) – Both of these teams are playing very well of late, but we’re just a bit higher on the Pacers. Especially given that they play fairly good ball on the road, at 8-6.
New York over ORLANDO (-10.5) – As unappetizing as the Knicks are, they should have at least an early bit of extra energy thanks to Zeke’s impending lineup changes, and this line is simply too high for a Magic team that is playing miserable basketball as of late.
CHARLOTTE (-4.5) over Washington – The Wiz have struggled since Antonio Daniels went down, and they could be without Caron Butler tonight thanks to an ankle injury. We’ll ride the Nazr bandwagon in Charlotte.
Detroit (-4.5) over NEW JERSEY – The Pistons are markedly better at basketball than the Nets are at this point.
New Orleans (-2.5) over MEMPHIS – The Grizz have played the Hornets to the wire twice this season, in two two-point overtime losses. The better team won’t underestimate them this time, and the Hornets will come out looking to throw the knockout punch early.
Chicago over SAN ANTONIO (-9.5) – High line, and perhaps the Bulls will have some extra fire at least for a night after the Skiles firing.

They hung around with Golden State the game before that prior to fading for a 13-point loss. Ultimately, this is just too many points to give with the Warriors at this point.
