The Picksix: Lakers running into trouble sans Bynum?

Cleveland over SAN ANTONIO (-7.5) -- The Cavs may still feel like they have something to prove. The Spurs know that these sorts of things aren't proven in January (see Cleveland's regular season sweep over San Antonio last year for details) and won't be looking to make a statement. Even if they win, it will be close.

Utah over DENVER (-4.5) -- Though the Jazz are a poor 6-14 on the road, a four-game winning streak at home may have jumpstarted them for good. Meanwhile, the Nuggets are reeling after back-to-back losses in Charlotte and Atlanta and the news of Nene's tumor.

Phoenix (-1.5) over LA LAKERS -- No Andrew Bynum could mean Amare Stoudemire running absolutely wild in the paint tonight.

Last night: 3-5
Season: 299-270
